DOJ worker, 4 others held up by 5 motorcycle-riding men in QC
MANILA, Philippines—An employee of the Department of Justice and four other people were held up by five motorcycle-riding gunmen at dawn Thursday in Quezon City, a radio report said.
The robbers blocked the way of 25-year-old John Abraham Lagarte, a DOJ technical assistant, and four other victims while they were walking along Tomas Morato Avenue and divested their valuables at gunpoint.
The robbers sped off with P20,000 cash, electronic gadgets and mobile phones, the report said.
The police, according to the report, are still investigating on the robbery.
