PRO-7 to hire 630 civilians

THE Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) will be hiring 630 non-uniformed personnel who are to replace policemen manning offices administrative duties.

With the move, uniformed personnel will be deployed in the field thus increasing police visibility, said Chief Supt. Danilo Constantino, chief of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7).

Constantino said applicants need not be college graduates as long as they have already earned 72 units.

¨They can apply in nearest police stations where they are living so it is easier and more accessible,” Constantino added.

Hired applicant could get a salary of P10,000 a month. They will be assigned in 151 stations in Region 7.

Constantino also explained that desk officers and investigators will remain.
