ROB SUSPECT Shot Dead

A man whom police said was involved in a robbery and a shooting incident last month was gunned down Sunday night in Holy Child, barangay Bulacao, Talisay City.

Gilbert Cabigas was walking home when the assailant shot him in the neck.

PO2 Stephen Sefuesca of Talisay City Police said Cabigas died on the spot.

Man hangs self

A 30-year-old man, whom relatives said suffered a nervous breakdown a month ago, hanged himself at home in Zone 2, barangay Mohon, Talisay City last Sunday.

Dindo Donoso was found by his brother, Rogelio, in his room hanging from the ceiling with a belt.

He was taken to the Talisay City District Hospital, where the attending physician declared him dead. /CORRESPONDENT Gabriel C. Bonjoc

Drug dealer falls

A man suspected of peddling drugs was arrested by policemen in sitio Tunga, barangay Tanke, Talisay City last Sunday.

Talisay City police said they received a call from a concerned citizen about the rampant selling of illegal drugs in their place.

Insp. Rodgene Fudotan and his team went to check the report.

The suspect Jason Villarias tried to escape when authorities arrived but policemen were able to corner him.

Confiscated from Villarias was a matchbox containing six small packs of white substance believed to be shabu.
