MANILA, Philippines—Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday reiterated his call for a Senate inquiry on the government’s implementation of traffic and transportation rules after a passenger bus fell off the elevated Skyway last week.

Marcos wants the departments of interior and local government and of transportation, the PNP and the Metro Manila Development Authority to report on the implementation of traffic and transportation regulations, especially with regard to public transportation.

The DILG and DOTC are headed by ranking partymates of President Aquino’s in the Liberal Party. They are Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas and Transportation Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya.
