Aquino to speak to Biazon after filing of ‘pork’ charges

MANILA, Philippines— President Benigno Aquino III will speak to Commisioner Ruffy Biazon after charges of funds misuse are filed against him, Malacañang said Saturday.

However, no other details were given by Aquino, said Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma.

Asked about the plan to relieve Biazon from his post, Coloma said he had no information regarding the issue.

Coloma said that there is no need for Biazon to file a leave while the investigation is ongoing.

Aked if Biazon should resign for delicadeza, Coloma said: “Delicadeza is an individual decision.”
