/ 07:05 AM November 26, 2013

A PAIR OF standouts from the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) shone through for Big Chill as Mar Villahermosa and Brian Heruela helped push the Superchargers to a 94-87 win over the Café France Bakers in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup yesterday at the JCSGO gym in Quezon City.

Villahermosa, a former ace of the University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars who once won the Cesafi’s three-point shootout, scored all 18 of his points in the second half while Heruela, a former Mythical Five member of the Cesafi during his years with the University of Cebu, had 12 assists to go with his six points.

The win was the Superchargers’ sixth in a row, which kept them firmly at the top of the standings.
