ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines—Armed men abducted a businesswoman in Ipil town in Zamboanga Sibugay on Sunday night, the military said.

Brig. Gen. Santiago Baluyot, chief of the Army’s 102nd Brigade, said armed men posing as customers abducted Luisa Galvez, 34 and owner of the RL Salon and Spa in Ipil.

Baluyot said the assailants used a yellow multi-cab as a getaway vehicle, which was later found in Sitio Simanal in Barangay Bankerohan, some three kilometers away from where the abduction happened.
