SM deep blue chess tourney on
The SM Deep Blue Chess Club will hold a tournament featuring the best junior wood pushers today at the SM Deep Blue Chess Club at SM City Cebu.
The tournament is expected to draw some of Cebu’s best junior wood pushers such as Rhenzi Kyle Sevillano, Vic Glyzen Derotas, the Balbona siblings and Allan Pason.
The tournament will follow a seven-round Swiss system format. The champion woodpusher will get P1,200, the second placer receives P800 while the third placer gets P600. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
