Blazers vs Chiefs
THE COLLEGE OF ST. BENILDE Blazers will try to keep their fledgling hopes for the Final Four alive when they face off against the Arellano University Chiefs today in the 87th NCAA basketball tournament at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Blazers (4-7) are at solo fifth behind joint fourth-placers Mapua and Lyceum (5-6) and a win against the Chiefs in their 11:45 p.m. game today will put them half-a-game ahead behind the Intramuros neighbors.
The Chiefs (4-8), who are still reeling from a 97-70 beating they got from league-leading San Sebastian Colleg, are also looking for a win that will likewise enhance their dimming chances for the no. 4 spot.
In the other seniors game, the Lyceum Pirates take on the University of Perpetual Help Altas (2-10) in the 4 p.m. game. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
