Singapore scholarship application now open

THE Singapore Embassy is accepting applications for scholarship for the next school year.

The scholarship is tenable at the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University and the Singapore Management University. Except for medicine, dentistry, architecture and law, all other courses are open for applications.

The scholarship covers three to four years of tertiary study (depending on the course), return airfare, full tuition, accommodation allowance, and a living allowance of S$4,300 (P150,500) per year.

Scholars will be selected based on academic merit and are expected to contribute to the development of their country upon graduation.

FEATURED STORIES

Applicants must be Filipino citizens with excellent academic records and a good command of English.

A recipient of the scholarship may not hold any other scholarship, fellowship, grant or award without prior approval of the Singapore government.

Applicants must be in their first year or second year college or graduating in high school.

The nominees will undergo an entrance examination results and will be further shortlisted through an interview.

Scholarship application forms are available at the Singapore Embassy or downloadable from website: https://www. mfa.gov.sg/scp.

Filled-up application forms must be submitted to the Singapore Embassy in Taguig City not later than Dec. 6.
