A total of 120 indigent children in Cebu City were given free services during the medical and dental mission conducted by the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Cebu City Police Office.

WCPD Chief Luzviminda Bajenting Langbid led the activity last Oct. 23 at the CCPO quadrangle, in coordination with Supt. Napoleon Taduran, Chief Dental Service in Central Visayas and Supt. Richard Credo, Chief Medical Service in Central Visayas.

The children from barangays Sambag 2, Kasambagan, Mambaling, Pardo, Parian, Tejero, Punta Princesa, Pasil, Ermita, Busay and Kalunasan availed of free services, such as dental extraction and cleaning, and medical consultations. They were given medicines, vitamins, toothbrushes and toothpastes.

The activity was made possible through the efforts of CCPO Chief Noli Romana, in line with the National Children’s Month this October.
