AFTER coming out on top in the 18th edition of the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) basketball tournament named as the Mivesa Cup, several stalwarts of the champion Goldberry Suites came away with several individual awards during the awards night held last Saturday at The Loft, at the IT Park.

For his starring role in helping push Goldberry to its first title since 2010, ace forward Justin Huang was chosen the league’s Most Valuable Player. He was joined in the Mythical Five by his brother, Jeremy Huang, Insular Square’s Ed Macasling and Leigh Dixon and Franco Te of the Cebu Landmasters.

Jeremy Huang also snatched the Best Power Forward award while his teammate, Dave Ting, got the Best Off Guard diadem. Macasling was named the Best Point Guard, Dixon the Best Center and Te, the Best Small Forward.
