Thieves hit actress LJ Moreno’s Pasig home

Burglars carted away more than P200,000 worth of valuables from the ancestral house of actress LJ Moreno in Pasig City on Wednesday.

PO3 Lauren Punzalan said the break-in was discovered by Moreno’s younger sister Alodia Deanne Ricafort, 15, at the house on San Manuel Street, Barangay (village) Kapitolyo, around 4:30 p.m.

Ricafort had just arrived with the family driver and housemaid when they noticed that the backdoor was open. The family reported the loss of a Macbook computer worth P100,000, an iPhone worth P35,000, an iPod and five wristwatches worth around P100,000.

Moreno, 32, whose real name is Lari Jeanne Alapag, is a niece of former actress Alma Moreno. She is married to professional basketball player Jimmy Alapag.—Kristine Felisse Mangunay
