2 hurt in Maguindanao roadside blasts – military

MANILA, Philippines – Two persons were wounded in two roadside explosions in Maguindanao early Tuesday, the military said.

Reports from the Army’s 6th Infantry Division said that two civilian commuters sustained slight injuries in the blast near sitio (sub-village) Pembataan in Pinantao village in Parang town.

The first explosive device went off at 6:30 a.m. and another at 6:55 a.m.

The victims were identified as Abraham Tiburon and Erlinda Bulanges.

A post blast investigation has been launched by authorities.
