Man shot in Cebu City

A 30-YEAR-OLD man was hospitalized after he was allegedly shot by his neighbor in barangay Pahina Central, Cebu City.

Jericho Manago was shot while aboard a trisikad past noon yesterday.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds in the abdomen and legs. The alleged assailant, Alfredo Bacalya, fled after the attack. / CORRESPONDENT APPLE TA-AS

DANAO SHOOTING

A 27-YEAR-OLD man was shot while walking home after attending a benefit dance in barangay Maslog, Danao City, north Cebu.

Jeffery Arias survived the attack but was wounded in the stomach. Police said Arias and his friends were walking home past 3 a.m. yesterday when three men blocked their path.

Police said one of the men drew a gun and shot the victim before they fled.
