DAR bares new regional director

THE Department of Agrarian Reform in Central Visayas (DAR) announced the appointment of its new regional director by Agrarian Reform Secretary Virgilio delos Reyes.

DAR-7 employees welcomed Stephen Leonidad as their new regional director.

Regional Director Rodolfo Inson will be leaving his current post to assume the position as special assistant of the regional director in Region VI.

Prior to his reassignment, Leonidas was the provincial agrarian reform officer of DAR Negros Oriental.

During the turnover ceremony last Aug. 29, Director Leonidas stressed the need for full cooperation and unity for a successful agrarian reform program.

Lawyer Resty Osias, head of the legal services and chairperson, center for land use policy, planning and implementation at the DAR Central Office and former Bohol provincial agrarian reform program officer Dr. Antonio del Socorro, now OIC Director III will be the new DAR-7 assistant regional directors.

Lawyer Rosalio Kintanar is still the regional agrarian reform adjudicator for DAR Adjudication Board in Region 7 with the main task to hear and resolve agrarian related cases, disputes or controversies.
