Don Bosco faces USC in opener of Cesafi football

DON Bosco College hopes to regain lost glory as it begins its quest in the secondary division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) football competition this afternoon at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Don Bosco will start its campaign by going up against University of San Carlos (USC). The second game will see University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) taking on the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R).

The Bosconians used to be the perennial champions of this event before being dethroned by the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles last year.

All five teams seeing action in this tournament will be playing more games than last year since the tournament will follow a double round robin format. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
