Caritas Manila accepts aid for flood victims

Caritas Manila, the lead social service agency of the Catholic Church, is accepting donations for families affected by tropical storm “Maring” and monsoon floods. Caritas Damayan is the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Program of Caritas Manila, and Quick-Response Emergency Relief is one of the major tasks of Damayan. Around P6 million have been released for 16,000 families who received relief packs from Caritas volunteers in Metro Manila and in Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan and Bataan provinces. Donations in cash and kind are welcome.

For cash donations, deposit to Caritas Manila Inc. under the following account numbers: BPI SA 3063-5357-01, BDO SA 5600-45905, PNB CA 10-856-660001-7, UnionBank CA 00-030-001227-5, Metrobank SA 175-3-17506954-3. Donations may also be dropped off at Caritas Manila, 2002 Jesus St. Pandacan, Manila or at Radio Veritas, West Avenue corner Edsa, Quezon City, or at your nearest parish.
