Wanted man falls
A MAN wanted for murder and robbery charges was arrested by police in his home in barangay Lawaan III, Talisay City, Cebu last Saturday.
Joshua Tabera insisted he was innocent.
“My conscience is clear,” said Tabera in Cebuano when he was presented yesterday at the police headquarters.
Tabera was the leader of a robbery group of at least five members who were allegedly behind the shooting and robbing of three Korean nationals last July 20 in Talisay City, said Senior Supt. Noel Gillamac, chief of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO).
Korean Jeong Yoo Jin was shot in the abdomen while Diogracias Dumancas, the driver of the tricycle the Koreans rode in, was wounded in the shoulder after the Koreans resisted the robbery.
Tabera has three pending arrest warrants for murder and frustrated murder.

Article continues after this advertisementPolice said they were able to locate Tabera following the arrest of two robbery suspects identified as Denden and Walden.
