Golden Life logs 1st win in Holy Family caging

DEFENDING champion Golden Life claimed its first ever win by edging 15-30 Store, 80-72 last Monday in the ongoing Holy Family basketball tournament at the Mabolo Gymnasium.

Power forward Johnny Bargamento led Golden Life with 18 points.

Bargamento who is the reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, dictated the game in the second half by scoring crucial points inside the paint.

15-30 Store though, showed tremendous heart by keeping pace with Golden Life and only trailed by two, 51-53 at the end of the third quarter.

In the fourth, Golden Life leaned on its three-point shooters to pull ahead and post the eight-point victory.
