ALA-Cobra boxing to invade Davao

FOLLOWING a successful stint in Bacolod City, the ALA-Cobra ‘Tunay Na Lakas’ Boxing fight night will next invade Davao City this Saturday at the Magsaysay Park.

Leading the list of the young prospects to be showcased in the boxing event will be Jerson Mancio (17-3-3, 3KOs) of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, who will be going up against journeyman Jovel Romasasa (10-10, 4KOs) of General Santos City in the 110-pound division for a 10-round, non-title bout.

The undefeated Ralph Lulu (8-0, 3KOs) of Sultan Kudarat will try to extend his winning streak to eight as he faces Ronerex Dalut (8-11-2, 2KOs) of General Santos City in the 122-pound division.

Davao City’s own Engelbert Moralde (5-1, 3KOs) will fight Misamis Oriental’s Reymund Tabogon (10-2-1, 4KOs) in the 112-pound division. Moralde’s brother, John Vincent (6-0,3KOs), will also put his undefeated record at stake against Jestoni Makiputin (4-0-2,2KOs) of Valencia City, Bukidnon in the 118-pound division.

Another of Davao City’s young prospect, Glendon Ramos, will face fellow Davaoeño Jessie James Boiles in the 108-pound division.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
