MANILA, Philippines—Traffic was starting to build up along a portion of EDSA as traffic enforcers towed two six-wheeler trucks that figured in an accident along Pasig City Monday morning, a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority officer said.

Charlie Nosares of MMDA-Metrobase said an Elf truck, collided with another truck at the southbound lane of C5 Bagong Ilog around 9:53 a.m due to slippery road caused by rains brought by typhoon “Labuyo.”

He said the two trucks, with license plate numbers RLY 420 and RGH 853, were both loaded with sand.

“Nabangga lang nung isa sa likod dahil madulas ang daan,” Nosares said, but noted that no one was hurt.
