4.3-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines—A 4.3-magnitude earthquake shook Surigao del Sur Wednesday night but no aftershocks were expected, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The tectonic quake was recorded seven kilometers northwest of Lingig town at 10:52 p.m.

The quake had a depth of 22 kilometers, and was felt at Intensity II in Bislig, Phivolcs said.
No damages were recorded.
