A 24-YEAR-OLD trisikad driver was killed when trouble broke out during a coin toss game or hantak in barangay Inayawan, Cebu City.

Police identified the fatality as Marzel Lingatong Badana.

While playing hantak, Badana and construction worker Marlo Dagpin Angga, 38, argued over a P5 bet.

After the argument, Badana went home but returned later already armed with .38 revolver.

Police said Badana shot Angga but missed.

The two men wrestled.

Police said Angga slammed Badana’s head against the concrete pavement.

Angga also grabbed the firearm from Badana and used it in striking the victim’s head.

Other trisikad drivers called the police.

Angga helped in bringing Badana to the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) where he was arrested by the police.

Badana was declared dead at the hospital.
