SAN JOSE CITY—Police are looking for a Nueva Vizcaya provincial government official, who disappeared on Monday with a bag containing P1.2 million of government money after he and fellow employees stopped at a restroom in Barangay Malasin here.

PO1 Vladimir Caratiquet said Remington Jamison, 34, administrative officer of the Nueva Vizcaya government, did not return to his service vehicle after a 30-minute wait at Mojos Canteen, prompting his companions to report him missing.

Jamison was on his way to Metro Manila with Eilyn Dacuycuy, 47, supervising administrative officer of the Nueva Vizcaya provincial general services office, and other employees on board an Isuzu van.

“Remington and Rommel [Alfonso, the vehicle’s driver] went out of the vehicle while the rest of the passengers were still sleeping,” Caratiquet said.

Jamison had complained of stomach pain after consuming a bottle of an energy drink, and rushed to the rest room, he said.  Armand Galang, Inquirer Central Luzon
