Bullet hits PDEA exec’s car
MANILA, Philippines—A bullet tore through the vehicle of a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency official early Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Police said the incident took place along the NAIA Road (formerly called MIA) around 8:20 a.m. involving the blue Mazda vehicle of PDEA’s Internal Affairs Office official.
The victim refused to be named for security purposes.
A report from Radyo Inquirer 990AM said the husband of the PDEA official was behind the wheel while the antinarcotics officer was beside him in the front passenger seat when the bullet from a caliber .45 hit the vehicle’s windshield.
The husband was quoted as saying it could be a stray bullet.
