Some 100 victims and their families received assistance from AboitizLand and Aboitiz Foundation less than 24 hours after the fire that gutted a residential area on A. Lopez Street, Labangon, Cebu City Wednesday dawn.

AboitizLand assistant manager for community relations Cori Baybay said relief packs loaded in two vehicles were distributed to the victims who temporarily took shelter at the barangay gymnasium around 4 p.m. on the same day.

The relief packs contained mineral water, biscuits and canned goods.
