Independence Day bowling on

SOME OF CEBU’S best bowlers will converge at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center for the annual “Independence Day Bowling Cup” of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) today.

Around 50 keglers from CETBA and other bowling groups will compete in the tournament, which will have a four-man team, doubles and singles competition. All categories will be a six-game series.

In the singles event, the top five bowlers will compete in a knockout system, where the number one ranked bowler during the eliminations will gain a twice-to-beat advantage./CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
