“Hopefully, we can get as many participants especially our artists because they can really know many things from him,” Solomon said

She said they were trying to get more participants from the various creative sectors of Cebu including visual arts, furniture, fashion, architecture, print, interactive music, performing arts, motion picture, and culinary arts.

“With Cebu being known for many famous designer-personalities like Cobonpue and Monique Lhuillier, it is just right to stimulate more creativity into our people who are naturally creative. It’s time we teach them how to convert their art into something that they can earn from,” Solomon said.

‘Saving Face’

Aside from the talks, Solomon said that they would also be having a film showing of “Saving Face,” which is a Cebuano Indie film that won an Oscars award.

For the event, the committee will be charging P250 for students and P350 for adults.
