BALANGA CITY, Philippines–At least 23 construction workers in Limay, Bataan, were taken to a hospital here on Wednesday when they felt nauseous and started vomiting after taking lunch.

Police said the workers, employed by the JRFRJK Insulation Services, had lunch after installing steel pipes for a boiler unit of the Taiwanese firm Wan Hong in Limay.

After eating fried chicken and pork stew, the workers started feeling dizzy and vomited, police said.

The workers, all residents of Barangay (village) Townsite in Limay, were taken to the Bataan General Hospital in this city, 17 kilometers from their work site.
