CITE to hold graduation rites, scholars’ day

TWO-HUNDRED students will receive their diploma in Industrial Technician Program (ITP) during the 21st commencement  exercises of the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE) on June 8.

The students have completed their three-year in-school and in-plant training and the requirements set by CITE and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda).

This year, the school harvested 55 Information Technology graduates,  141 Electromechanics Technology graduates, three Mechanical Technology graduates and one Industrial Electronics Technology graduate.

During the ceremony, CITE will confer special awards on graduates who have excelled in their fields. Parents will also receive a certificate for having completed the education for development seminar series for three years.

FEATURED STORIES

In the afternoon, some 1,500 scholars will be presented to the CITE Board during the 22nd Scholars’ Day rites. Certificates of merit will be given to performing scholars and  certificates of recognition to scholarship grantors.

Juanito King Foundation Inc. executive director Kenneth Raymund King will speak before the scholars. Also expected to attend is Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.
