Gabii sa Kabilin e-guide available for download; some city roads to close
AN electronic guide to the Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 can now be downloaded for free from the website of Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI).
The Gabii sa Kabilin 2013 guide contains information on the cultural event, such as tour mechanics; maps of bus, city walk and tartanilla routes; and list of participating museums and their locations.
A ticket worth P150 admits holders to all destinations, Gabii sa Kabilin-designated bus rides and a tartanilla (horse-drawn carriage) trip within the city’s old district. Admission is free for children aged seven and below.
To ensure the safety of the participants who will be walking from one site to another during the Gabii sa Kabilin on May 31, the Cebu City Integrated Traffic Operations Management or Citom will close some streets in downtown Cebu City from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Motorists are advised to avoid taking Lopez Jaena Street; Mabini, from corner Bonifacio Street to corner Urdaneta Street; Ballesteros; P. Burgos Street, from Urdaneta Street to MC Briones Street; Colon, from Jakosalem Street to Mabini Street; and Osmeña Boulevard, from Jakosalem Street to MC Briones Street.
