CF cards in Batangas City defective

BATANGAS CITY, Philippines—Of the three cities in Batangas province, only this city has not transmitted to the provincial board of canvassers its election results due to defective compact flash cards of the PCOS machines in three of its barangays (villages).

Provincial election officer Grace Petallo said CF cards for the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines in the villages of Sta. Rita, Gulod Labac, and Gulod Itaas of this city were defective.

She said they have requested the National Support Center of the Commission on Elections to inform the poll body’s warehouse in Cabuyao, Laguna to deliver replacement cards in these villages.
