Man stabs pregnant partner
A 25-YEAR-OLD pregnant woman was stabbed by her live-in partner inside their house in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
Police are still investigating what drove Junrey Cacha, 32, to stab Faith Dizon, 25, on Wednesday night.
Police said Cacha admitted that he was high on drugs during the attack.
Police said four packs of suspected shabu was recovered from the man’s possession during the arrest.
Dizon, who is eight months pregnant, said he was resting inside their house when her partner suddenly stabbed her in the back.
The victim sought help from neighbors who brough her to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital. The woman was later transferred to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.
Police arrested Cacha after the incident.
