THE BELEAGUERED Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras hope to end their Manila sojourn with a bang as they battle the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers today in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Cup at the Arena in San Juan City.

In a stunning turn of events, the reigning Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) champions received news yesterday of the resignation of their head coach Raul “Yayoy” Alcoseba (read story above).

With that hanging over their heads, the Cobras will try to bag their third win in this competition against the UAAP runners-up from last season.
