The Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Quezon City was inaugurated 33 years ago on April 29, 1980. Originally named Lungsod ng Kabataan (Children’s City), it was created through Presidential 1631 to provide services in pediatrics in the country. Renamed in 1986, the hospital currently has a 200-bed capacity. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
