Mom with cancer needs assistance

A 41-year-old mother from San Nicolas, Cebu City is in need of financial assistance for her cancer treatment.

Esterlita Dubias has follicular thyroid cancer.

Dubias first discovered her neck swellling, which she thought as a goiter.

She underwent a series of laboratory tests and the results revealed that she has a thyroid cancer.

Her doctor advised her to undergo surgery but she can’t afford the procedure since she only works as a housemaid whose salary is not even enough to send her only son to school.

She recently stopped working when her condition worsened and is now relying on the support of her brothers and sisters.

Dubias is scheduled to undergo three sessions of radioactive iodine therapy at P47,000 each.

She has already visited different agencies and organizations to seek help.

Esterlita is also asking kindhearted individuals for financial help.
