MANILA, Philippines-The Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a bloodletting activity in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City on Wednesday, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Director Alan Purisima said.

“We held this endeavor to make this celebration a meaningful one,” Purisima said.  “Through this bloodletting drive, we hope to help and extend the lives of whoever beneficiaries will receive these.  We are proud that the blood of our police donors will be of great help one way or another.”

Some 150 police donors from the Regional Public Safety Battalion participated in the event. A total of 40,500cc of blood was collected, Purisima said.

“We hope that through this endeavor, we would be able to extend our help to those who are in need,” Purisima said.
