BEERMEN FACE SINGAPORE TODAY

THE SAN MIGUEL Beermen continue their pursuit of the top spot in the standings when they face off once again against the Singapore Slingers today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

At 10-3 (win-loss), the Beermen are chasing the reigning champions Indonesia Warriors for the lead in the standings.

San Miguel hopes to draw the same kind of effort that the Beermen showed in clobbering the Slingers last week, 78-57.

San Miguel’s local firepower was on full display during that game with Fil-Italian guard Chris Banchero continuing to wax hot with 19 points.

Reigning MVP, Leo Avenido, also registered solid numbers with 16 points. Import Justin Williams had 14 points and seven boards.
