MANILA, Philippines—Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms were seen to affect Mindanao due to a trough of a low pressure area, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its afternoon bulletin.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
