Boboy Durano to get ‘full rest’ from campaign
DOCTORS have advised “complete rest” for vice guberantorial bet Ramon “Boboy” Durano who was rushed to the hospital in Cebu City Sunday.
He suffered a stroke but is out of danger, according to two sources in the Durano clan, who asked not to be named for lack of authority to speak for the family.
His father Danao City Mayor Ramon “Boy” Durano visited him in Cebu Doctor’s Hospital yesterday morning and told Cebu Daily News that it’s not true that Buboy had suffered a heart attack.
He described his son’s condition only as severe dehydration, the same explanation given earlier by One Cebu gubernatorial bet Rep. Pablo John Garcia.
Boy Durano said doctors advised the candidate to get “complete rest” and stay away from campaign sorties for a while.
“As a parent, I think he should rest. Of what value is the elections when there are many others. My concern is for his safety,” Mayor Durano said.
