THE Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) Infection Control Committee will conduct its annual routine preventive maintenance, scrubbing and cleaning together with the post culture in the delivery and labor rooms, wards 1 and 2 and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit from March 21 to 27.

The VSMMC will not be accepting obstetrics cases for the duration.

However, VSMMC is still admitting patients on emergency cases only direct to delivery room to give time for social workers to discharge the remaining patients.

Patients can be referred to St. Anthony Mother and Child and Talisay District Hospital for the patients from the southern part of Cebu and Eversley Child Sanitarium and General Hospital for the patients from the northern part of Cebu.
