Batch ‘95 downs Class 2004
NEW Millenium Hardware ’95 got back on the winning track as it beat the Best World Lifestyle 2004, 77-57, in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association’s 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup last Friday night at the CEC gym.
Joseph James Yu dished out a splendid all-around performance, as he finished an assist shy of a triple-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists as Class ’95 immediately went back to usual business after its 10-game win streak was halted by Dewfoam ’88 last Tuesday evening.
Like Class ’95, Dimsum Frito 2003 also rebounded from a previous loss and vented its ire on PTT 2005, 68-56.
Joey Catipay churned out 16 points, four rebounds and two assists for Class 2003. Philip Judd Veneracion and Irene Ferdinan Lague each scored 10, even as they also connive for eight rebounds for the Dimsum Frito-backed squad,
