Faulty wiring seen cause of fire

RIZAL—The Rizal police on Tuesday ruled out sabotage and pointed at faulty electrical wiring as the cause of the fire that hit a police camp in Taytay, Rizal, on Monday.

The fire reached an office where grenades are being stored, triggering at least three explosions.

Senior Supt. Rolando Anduyan, Rizal police chief, on Tuesday said all electrical wirings and installations in the Taytay police camp would be inspected. “Although too late, we will have to do it for prevention,” said Anduyan. Maricar Cinco, Inquirer Southern Luzon
