Red Cubs win NBTC title
THE EXTREME San Beda Red Cubs added another trophy to their case as they captured the title in the Seaoil National Basketball Training Center High School Championships with a 100-96 overtime win over the Mako Hope Christian School yesterday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The NCAA champions bled for the win as they had to withstand the furious charge of Hope, which trailed by as many as 21 points in the game, 8-29.
Hope made it to the finals after beating Maynilad Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu 73-66 in the semis.
