Innodata pounds Accenture
INNODATA Knowledge Services Inc. overpowered rival BPO operator Accenture Inc., 109-89, last Saturday in the HoopStars 2013 Corporate League at the J Centre Mall in Mandaue City.
Archie Antigua lifted Innodata to an overwhelming victory, scoring 46 points, 16 coming in the fourth quarter.
Bisael Estrera and Leo Casinillo backed him up, contributing 13 and 12 points, respectively.
They managed to contain the surge of Archie Brian Batua, who also made 16 of his 42 points in the final quarter for Accenture.
Batua was backed up by Ryan Edward Llanos, who pitched in 18 points.
The tournament is backed by Siknoy Noodle House and DyKI 89.9 Smooth FM.
Meanwhile, Hyundai (Cars) Cebu Inc. earned a win via default after the Visayan Electric Company (VECO) failed to show up for its first game.
This violation prompted organizers to issue the team a warning. A second commission will mean a one game suspension, while a third will kick the team out of the series, disclosed HoopStars commissioner Cerwin Eviota. /PR
