8th Camotes Mountain Bike Challenge set March 9

THE 8th Camotes Mountain Bike challenge will kick off March 9 in San Francisco, Camotes Island.

The race is held in line with the fiesta celebration of Camotes Island and is organized by the local government unit and the Camotes Offroad Bikers Association headed by its president, Leeford Galindo.

The race’s theme is “Let’s Pedal The Change, Mitigate Climate Change.”

The event will feature six categories. These are the seniors, juniors, masters, beginners, veterans, golden boys and Camotes bikers. Registration fee is pegged at P50.

FEATURED STORIES

The technical side of the race will be handled by veteran race director Joel Baring of the Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE). The race according to Baring will be having a total distance of 38 kilometers.
