MANILA, Philippines—Tour guide and performing artist Carlos Celdran, who was sentenced to jail for offending religious feelings, appealed his conviction at the Manila Metropolitan Trial Court on Monday.

“Filed my appeal at 11 a.m. today (Monday) at Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 4, Manila. P1,510 is the cost,” he said on social media.
