Awol cop arrested for stealing motorcycle

An Awol (absent without official leave) policeman was arrested for stealing a motorcycle in Parañaque City on Sunday evening.

PO1 Eric A. Domingo was arrested at the Simplicio Compound for allegedly stealing a Yamaha Mio motorcycle while it was parked near a condominium unit the day before.

The motorcycle owned by Normelita delos Santos was  later recovered near Domingo’s house.

Anticar theft chief SPO3 Chris Gellanga said that Domingo was identified through the footage taken by a closed-circuit television camera installed at the condominium which showed him taking the motorcycle.

On the other hand, Parañaque police investigation unit head Chief Insp. Enrique Sy said that Domingo, a member of the Regional Public Safety Battalion, was involved in several extortion attempts. Noli A. Ermitanio
