MAN JUMPS TO HIS DEATH
A MAN was killed after he allegedly jumped from a bridge in barangay Labangon, Cebu City last Saturday morning.
Police said the victim, Romulo Martinez, 40, was reportedly mentally unstable.
Police said the man suffered head injuries.
Paramedics from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (Eruf) rushed the man to the Cebu City Medical Center where he was declared dead.

Article continues after this advertisementA 30-YEAR-OLD man was wounded in a stabbing incident in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City Saturday night.
Noel Bacalla was walking along a road when he was stabbed in the back allegedly by Ernie Tapan, police said.
Police said the attack could be a case of ‘paregla” or random violence.
Tapan fled after the attack.
The victim sought help from passersby who brought him to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital. Bacalla was later transferred to a hospital in Cebu City.

FARMER KILLED
A 20-YEAR-OLD farmer was shot dead in barangay Nug-as, Alcoy town, southern Cebu.
Veronico Carungay succumbed to a gunshot wound in the head.
Police said the victim was walking home from the market past 2 p.m. last Saturday when he was shot oby an unidentified assailant.
